Packaging for hum!

When it came to packaging, our approach was to find a sustainable and simple solution. This should be plastic-free , reduced to the bare essentials and still adequately protect our pillows .

For individual pillows, we chose ecological, sustainable paper mailing bags that are FSC certified and extra reinforced on the inside. This means that the pillow is protected from external influences and the packaging size is suitable for the product, which also saves CO². For larger orders we use normal cardboard shipping boxes. We use environmentally friendly paper tape to close the boxes.

For additional protection, the cushions are carefully wrapped in recyclable kraft paper and a personal card is enclosed.

All pillows ordered are carefully hand-packed by us and shipped from our warehouse.

If possible, shipping is carried out in a climate-neutral manner via DHL GoGreen and dpd.

Within 1-3 working days and free shipping in Germany.

Sample fabrics

The sample fabrics that we offer free of charge are also shipped plastic-free .

Here you can order your favorite fabric samples in advance, view them at your leisure and thereby avoid returns. This is how we can reduce the CO² footprint together.

The boxes and packaging material from our suppliers can also be reused. We use these for shipping to our partner stores.

personalization

The shipping bags are printed with our “hum” logo. We decided against personalizing the boxes due to the high minimum purchase quantities and the additional expenditure of additional resources. This also makes the boxes easier to reuse.
